Pablo Álvarez-Aragón

Hello!

I am a third year PhD student in Economics in the Center for Research in the Economics of Development (CRED) at the University of Namur, supervised by Catherine Guirkinger.

My research interests lie at the intersection of development economics and economic history. I am currently studying the historical roots of women's relative well-being in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, as well as issues related to identifying the constraints, incentives, and economic forces driving gender discrimination in other sub-Saharan African countries.

I am currently visiting the Paris School of Economics.
