Hello!

I am a fourth year PhD student in Economics in the Center for Research in the Economics of Development (CRED) at the University of Namur, supervised by Catherine Guirkinger.

In my research, I use first-hand data that I collect and secondary sources to understand the role of institutions (both formal and informal) and the role of customs and beliefs in economic development, with a focus on sub-Saharan Africa and on gender. To study these issues, I rely on randomized controlled trials and on observational data. 

During the fall and winter of 2023-2024, I visited the Paris School of Economics. In March 2025, I visited the Vancouver School of Economics.
